FUNCTIONS
Can I play my own music/have live music?
You're more than welcome to bring a speaker to your event. If you're planning on having live music, a soloist or a singer and a guitarist is fine, but please no full bands. We have decibel restrictions and once reached the power will cut from the function area.
Can I put on a bar tab?
Absolutely!
Is there somewhere I can store my food if I'm self catering?
Yes. The staff behind the bar can put your cold items in our cool room that you can have access to throughout the day.
Can I get someone else to cater my event?
We don't allow external catering companies, so if you choose to self cater, everything must be prepared by you. We do have catering options for your event which you can check out in the functions tab.
Can I bring my own drinks?
No! Due to licensing, ALL alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks must be purchased on site. Any breaches of this will result in immediate termination of your function.
Can I bring my own snacks?
If you've booked a function with us yes you are able to bring your own snacks. If not, please don't bring in your own food.
Do you have BBQ equipment?
The bar has limited equipment for barbecues so we ask that you please bring your own cooking and serving utensils when using the BBQ.
Can we put up decorations?
Yes, you're more than welcome to decorate the area how you'd like but please remember you'll be responsible for taking it all down and off the premises at the end of your function.
BOWLS
When can I play bowls?
You can bowl from the clubs open at midday until the sun goes down. We book in 2 hour time slots.
Is there a cost?
Yes, bowls lanes come at a cost of $50 per lane - except Tuesdays when it's free from 12pm.
Can kids play bowls?
Unfortunately, kids under 12 aren't permitted on the greens.
Do you provide the bowls?
Yes. We provide all equipment needed for you to bowl.
CLUB
Do you have a dress code?
We're pretty lax here at the bowlo, make sure you wear shoes inside and have something covering your body. Singlets, hats and workwear are fine with us.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Bar Beach Bowlo is DOG FRIENDLY! Please just keep your pups on a leash and off the greens.
What time does the raffle start on Friday night?
Ticket sales start around 5.30 with raffles kicking off at 6pm-6.30pm
Do you have live music?
We have live music on Sunday afternoons from 2pm-5pm!
